as Darkness Envelopes the City 2019.
The project was part of the cultural event “Social Bauhaus”, an Urban Experience Marking the Centenary of Bauhaus. One of the 4th focal points, is the Talpiot Market structure—one of Israel’s most important and iconic Bauhaus buildings and an epitomic representative of the International Style.
The video installation collapses into a ruined free standing space. It charts fragmentation events, induces various sequences of rooms piercing each other, crumpling up into one another, cut through walls and floors. As if a tectonic event, produced an enigmatic type of earthquake, forming constantly shifting as they drift around.
